First, to give a quick overview of the basic idea of this: This will not involve elections. Assuming you meet the minimal requirements, you will instantly be a senator. You can then proceed to start or join a political party, and begin debating over the daily issues.
The TF Senate proceeds over the imaginary nation that has yet to be named. Hopefully one of the first pieces of legislation to pass will be one that names the country. Specific procedures for passing legislation and voting will be in the OP of the Senate chamber thread. You may not post in the chamber thread until you have been accepted by me as a senator and put on the list. I will check and accept applications for senators at least once a day, and political parties at least one per two days.
You can find out whether you are an official senator or an official party by checking the Senate records below. The next section afterwards will have all of the necessary applications. Because what would politics be without paperwork?
